Built in St. Louis. Rooted in local life.
A city is more than the places you already know. Worth Doing is here to help you discover the rest.

We live in a great American city with more to do than any one person could keep up with. But finding it meant checking one source after another, sorting through things that did not fit, and still hearing about something worthwhile after it was over. Worth Doing grew from that frustration: a better way to bring local possibilities together, make them relevant and useful to people ready to explore, and connect those people with the businesses and organizations creating the experiences.
A good time shouldn’t be hard to find.
“There’s nothing to do here.” We think there’s usually more to the story. A free afternoon, an overlooked neighborhood spot, a show worth the ticket price: the possibilities are there. Finding the right one should be easier.
Your next good plan. All in one place.
Finding something worth doing shouldn’t mean browsing dozens of websites, keeping an eye out for flyers, or digging through emails. And a great opportunity shouldn’t pass you by just because you didn’t know where to look.
We’re bringing local events, experiences, and places together in one place, with useful advice and ways to find what fits your interests, time, and budget. Spend less time piecing together your options and more time enjoying them.
More possibilities. Better information.
We want to cover the breadth of local life and make it useful to you. That means clear details about cost, timing, and location, alongside advice that helps you decide what fits your interests, time, and budget.
Worthwhile doesn’t always mean inexpensive. Sometimes it means a free walk. Sometimes it means a splurge you’ll be talking about for weeks.
St. Louis is our starting point.
Worth Doing is a St. Louis-based company, and the Gateway City is where our story begins.
Our next chapter takes us to three very different parts of Texas: the sprawling Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, the connected college communities of Bryan–College Station, and the wide-open landscapes and communities of West Texas.
These planned editions will help us develop and demonstrate the Worth Doing approach across different scales of local life: a major metro, a college-town community, and an expansive region. Each has its own rhythm. Each deserves a guide that understands it. That’s how we’re building something that can grow while keeping local knowledge at its heart.
A trusted local perspective in every edition.
Every edition combines carefully gathered information with people who understand the rhythms, quirks, and practical realities of the place.
Our guides are how that perspective shows up: why something matters, when to go, what to expect, how to get good value, and what can make the outing even better.
Good things happen when people connect.
Finding something worth doing can be the start of a new friendship, a favorite local place, or a reason to come back.
We want to connect people with one another, and connect businesses, venues, and event planners with people who would love what they offer. Helping those relationships take root is central to our vision.
Worth Doing Together is our future plan for helping adults connect through shared experiences. Worth Doing for Business focuses on helping local businesses and organizations share their stories, bring people together, and reach new audiences.
